THE MAN BEHIND RB VISUALS

Hi my name is John Rovic Baylon, born and raised in Binangonan, Rizal. I started as a computer geek when I was 9 years wherein I keep on exploring different IT solutions on the internet and self taught computer tech and started earning small commissions like PC reformat, OS installation, flash drive repair, and printing services within our community.

In the year 2012 where editing software like Adobe Premiere and Photoshop where introduced to me I got the chance to self study by means of searching free pdf of how to edit and video tutorials on YouTube.

At the age of 13 years I started shooting various programs and events of my alma mater every year contributing documentation for my school. I started without my own camera and I was able to learn by borrowing DSLR camera to my friends and faculty staff.

Fast forward to year 2016 where I obtained my first commissioned work as a photographer and videographer for a prenuptial and wedding coverage for my former teacher. This first paid work was the foundation of Rovic Baylon Photography where I established in the year 2016 as a freelance photographer and videographer for events.

About

Year 2017 during my senior high school years, I got the chance to be nominated and elected as Secretary for school council year 2017-2018 & 2018-2019. During this years I'm also the director, videographer and photographer for school media affairs. I've been awarded by my alma mater for recognizing my craft in providing aerial solutions, event coverages, school activities and school council projects.

2020 where I began my journey as a videographer for one company who caters product photography and videographer services.

I also worked with known celebrities for production works as cinematographer like Yassi Pressman, Aljur Abrenica, Sophie Albert, Vin Abrenica, Ogie Alcasid, Ian Veneracion, EA Guzman, Lara Maigue, Gian Magdangal, Carla Guevara Laforteza and many more.

I co-directed, shoot, edit Lara Maigue's music video titled "Let God"

Year 2021 where Rovic Baylon Visuals also known as RB Visuals is rebranded and established formerly known as Rovic Baylon Photography. Year 2019 might be the most crucial year for me as an creative but it never stopped me from reaching my dream to be known in the industry.

I believed that I'm not bounded to what I only know, learning is still on progress.
